Step 1
BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Prep those nails! Follow our OPI Salon Pro Prep basics.
Step 2
Apply a thin coat of Base Coat, leaving a thin perimeter at the cuticle line. Immediately sprinkle Metallic Mic Drop at the cuticle line, followed by Intergalactips in the center, and Black Onyx™ or Lady in Black at the tip. Slightly overlapping shades to create an ombre. Lightly brush away excess powder.
Step 3
Apply a thin coat of Base Coat to the entire nail, and immediately sprinkle shades in the same order over the base coat. Slightly overlapping shades to create an ombre. Lightly brush away excess powder. Apply a generous coat of Activator to the entire nail and cap the edge, allow to dry for 4 minutes.
Step 4
Refine the shape as needed starting with a 180-grit file. Buff the nail with a 100/180-grit buffer, followed by 220-grit buffer. Remove any loose powder with a cosmetic brush.
Step 5
Apply a generous coat of activator and cap the edge. Allow to dry for 4 minutes. Use a dry nail wipe to remove any excess activator.
Step 6
Apply two coats of Powder Perfection Top Coat. Use an applicator tool to gently press embellishments into the top coat. Allow to dry for 4 minutes.
Step 7
Use an e-file with a tapered bit to carve a heart in the tip of the nail , start with a pointed bit to poke a small hole and move to a small medium grit diamond cone to refine the shape.
