How to Remove Dipping Powder by E-File
Poof, gone. Buff a move and get down to business. We’re teaching you how to remove dip nails with your handy E-File. You’re welcome.
Step by Step
Step
Start by filing off powder using a medium-to-coarse removal bit to reduce the bulk of the work.
Pro Tip: Avoid making any contact with the natural nail by making sure you can always see some color. Use light pressure and let the E-File do the work–the more product removed now, the less soaking to do later.
Step
Remove dust using a brush.
Step
Soak the pad of the Removal Wrap with Artificial Nail Remover or Expert Touch Lacquer Remover.
Step
Wrap each finger, making sure the pad is placed face down on the top of the nail.
Step
Place hands inside hand mitts to help generate heat. If using Lacquer Remover, soak for 20-25 minutes. If using Artificial Nail Remover, soak for 10-15 minutes.
Step
Remove the wraps using a twisting motion to guarantee a clean removal.
Step
Use a cuticle stick to gently push off the lifted product. If any Powder Perfection remains, don't force it! Re-wrap and soak for an additional 5 minutes.
Step
Wipe off any residue with an Expert Touch Nail Wipe saturated with N.A.S. 99 Nail Cleansing Solution. Poof, you're done. Pro Tip: Do your client's nails need a little TLC between looks? Apply Nail Envy for some aftercare.
Step
Finished Powder Perfection removal.
