How to Prep Nails for Dipping Powder by E-File

Prep it before you rep it. Nail that dip powder prep by E-File and wow your clients just like that. Dips about to get real.

Products Used

Step 1
Wash your and your client’s hands with Swiss Blue Soap, then sanitize with Swiss Hand Guard Gel.
Step 2
Trim and shape nails if needed with the EDGE 240 Grip File.
Step 3
Use the PusherPlus Cuticle Pusher (without the Swiss Hand Guard Gel!) to gently push back cuticles, ensuring you don't scrape the nail plate.
Step 4
Remove any dust using a brush.
Step 5
Secure your prep drill bit into your E-File hand-piece, and on the slowest speed, run the bit along the cuticle line to remove excess cuticle growth. Move the bit in one direction only.
Step 6
Remove any dust using a brush.
Step 7
Remove any hangnails and remaining tissue with the AccuNip Cuticle Nipper.
Step 8
Lightly buff the nail surface with the 220 side of the FLEX 220/280 Buffer. Focus around the cuticle area and sidewalls.
Step 9
Clean nail with a Nail Wipe saturated with N.A.S. 99 Nail Cleansing Solution.
Step 10
Apply one coat of Bond Aid and let dry. You now have major prep cred.
