Summer Hautewave Matte Nail Art

Before You Begin: Prep those nails! Follow Powder Perfection prep basics.

Fill cups for dispensing powder in Flex on the Beach and Clear Color Set.

Apply one coat of Powder Perfection Base Coat to the nail leaving the perimeter free. Immediately dip the nail in Powder Perfection Flex on the Beach.

Pro Tip: Lightly brush away excess with a cosmetic brush between coats to prevent powder from contaminating the base coat.

Apply one coat of Powder Perfection Base Coat to the entire nail. Immediately dip the nail in Powder Perfection Flex on the Beach.

Apply one coat of Powder Perfection Base Coat and immediately dip in Powder Perfection Clear Set Powder. Lightly brush away excess with a cosmetic brush. Apply a generous coat of Powder Perfection Activator and allow to dry for 1-2 minutes (4 minutes for international).

Refine the shape as needed working from an Edge 180 File. Buff the nail with the 100 grit side of the Flex 100/180 Buffer, Cleanse the nail thoroughly with an Expert Touch Nail Wipe and N.A.S. 99.

Apply a coat of GelColor Stay Classic Base Coat. Cure for 30 seconds in an OPI LED Light. Apply a coat of GelColor Stay Matte Top Coat. Cure for 30 seconds in an OPI LED Light. Cleanse with N.A.S. 99 Cleansing Solution and an Expert Touch Nail Wipe.

Using a nail piercing tool or an e-file fitted with a fine hole bit drill a small hole in the tip of the nail. Open a jump ring with pliers and add a letter to the ring. Slip the ring into the hole and close the ring with pliers to add the nail charms.

Apply ProSpa Nail & Cuticle Oil to each nail and massage in.
