This minimal summer nail art look using shades from the OPI Malibu Collection will make a bold statement on your nails to show off all summer long.

Get the Look

Step 1
Before You Begin: Prep those nails! Follow Gel Color prep basics.
Apply one coat of GelColor Stay Strong or Stay Classic Base Coat and cure for 30 seconds in the OPI LED Light.
Step 2
Using a striping brush and Marigolden Hour, paint a large 2-like shape to section off the nail into two parts. Cure for 30 seconds.
Step 3
Using the bottle brush from Cliffside Karaoke, fill the entire bottom half of the nail. Cure for 30 seconds. Repeat for coverage. Using a striping brush and Marigolden Hour, repeat step 1 for coverage.
Step 4
Using the same striping brush and Marigolden Hour, paint eyelashes in the negative space section of the nail by painting a wide U-shape with 4 tiny lines extending out. Flash cure for 2-5 seconds. Continue to paint another set of eyelashes on the opposite side. Cure for 30 seconds. Repeat for coverage.
Step 5
Apply a coat of GelColor Stay Shiny Top Coat. Cure for 30 seconds in the OPI LED Light. Cleanse with N.A.S. 99 Cleansing Solution and an Expert Touch Nail Wipe. Apply ProSpa Nail & Cuticle Oil to each nail and massage in.
