At the recent Scratch Stars Awards, the nail industry’s only nail specific awards, held at the Under Globe in London on July 23 2023, the OPI Education team were awarded ‘Scratch Stars Nail Team of the Year’.

The OPI Education team and brand were commended for their approach: “The winning team offered ‘a powerhouse of support, with fantastic initiatives and down to earth leadership.’”

The OPI Education team is a 20 strong band of seasoned nail professionals, many of whom are freelance educators, also running their own nail businesses and training academies. Many have worked for the brand for over 10 years, with the newest recruits including Scratch Stars Natural Nail Specialist winner Lucy Price.

Charlotte Lowe and Loretta Walker were finalists in other toughly contended categories.

Education team manager Belinda Price says:

“The whole team were excited to be finalists, but to be announced winners on the night was really special. Many of the team were there to pick up the award and celebrate our success.

OPI are a brand that has had education at the heart of it’s business for 42 years, it’s the key to not only the brands success but also to our customers. By teaching them how to get the best out of the product we can help them build their skill level and business.

Much of our training is free of charge or heavily subsidised to ensure we have as big a reach as possible and make life long learning affordable. We do what it takes to support our team in providing this and are extremely proud of their hard work and this recent award win.”
