5 Ways To Use OPI's Matte Top Coat
Think matte nails are last season? Think again! Shine-free nails are still trending and with a myriad of looks you can create, the Matte look isn’t going anywhere.
Check out 5 easy ways to up your nail game using OPI's Matte Top Coat:
1. The most classic way to use Matte Top Coat is with a full coverage coat on your chosen color. You’ll get a shine-free, edgy finish, from base to tip.
Pro tips: Make sure to shake your top coat very well (we recommend a full 60 seconds) and apply in thin even coats. When using GelColor, achieve a “chalky” matte look by lightly buffing the GelColor Stay Matte Top Coat (after it’s cured and wiped clean of course!) with an OPI Flex Green 220/280 Buffer.
2. Put a spin on your usual French Mani! Apply OPI GelColor Stay Matte Top Coat to the tips of your glossy Mani to create a fun Matte tip French look. Or try it in reverse with a Matte nail and glossy French tip created with Top Coat.
3. Get creative and try using OPI GelColor Stay Matte Top Coat to create intricate designs on top of regular lacquer for a subtle, yet fashion-forward look.
4. Switch it up by applying a coat of OPI GelColor Stay Matte Top Coat first, and then drawing your designs with OPI Stay Shiny Top Coat for a uniquely textured look.
5. Love glitter? Try an unconventional take on shine by applying OPI GelColor Stay Matte Top Coat over a glitter lacquer. It’s an easy way to add dimension and originality to your designs.
