Bold Outline Nails
1. Using a 240-grit file, shape nails into a round, oval, or almond shape.
2. Apply 1 coat of Infinite Shine Gel-like Base Coat. Cap the tips of each nail and let it dry.
3. Apply 2 coats of Samoan Sand. Cap the tips of each nail and let each coat dry.
4. Using a detailing nail art brush and a bright red nail polish shade like My Chihuahua Doesn’t Bite Anymore, paint a thin curved line where the free edge of your nail begins. Usually, the best way to identify this is by turning your finger to the side to see where the nail is no longer attached to your nail bed. This is called your free edge. It’s the white-ish part of your nail.
5. Continue with the detailing brush and outline the very tip of the nail, this time connecting it to your first curved line.
6. Once dry, finish off with Infinite Shine Gel-like Top Coat to seal in your outline French mani!
Minimalistic Outline Nails
1. Using a 240-grit file, shape nails into a square shape.
2. Apply 1 coat of Infinite Shine Gel-like Base Coat. Cap the tips of each nail and let it dry.
3. Apply 2 coats of any OPI neutral shade. Let each coat dry. If your nail beds are long, we suggest a sheer pink shade such as Bubble Bath® or Bare My Soul. If your nail beds are shorter and you want to camouflage your natural smile line, we suggest using an opaque shade such as Samoan Sand or Do You Take Lei Away.
4. Using a detailing nail art brush, paint Mod About You across the tip of the nail and along the sidewalls about 1/3 up the nail.
5. Once dry, finish off with Infinite Shine Gel-like Top Coat to seal in your outline French mani!
